Essex County Sportsplex Parking Garage

Background

Having to meet the needs of the parking for the patrons of the Newark Bears, an Atlantic League Minor League Baseball Team, Essex County contracted with Prismatic to provide the construction services required for this four level 500 car facility.

The Challenge

This project was performed in a fast track method which required the facility to be completed in just five months.

Our Solution

Extensive coordination was necessary between the design team, subcontractors and suppliers along with two other major construction projects, the subway extension and the Route 21 Widening projects occurring at the same time, in order for this project to be completed in such a rapid time frame.
